This five days Ugandan safari that will take you to the most isolated National park in the Pearl of Africa through the wild frontier region of Karamoja entailed with typical African culture. This magnificent safari will expose one to the big fives of the African wilderness with a stopover at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for Rhino trekking and spotting the other big mammals in the park. You will have magical views of beautiful water falls of Karuma and Sipi during this safari as you enjoy their burbling sounds. This safari will therefore offer you a thrilling experience through fascinating series of waterfalls and wildlife.

You will be received by our driver guide upon arrival at the airport, have a briefing about this 5 days safari before embarking on the journey to Gulu. The journey will take you to about 6 hours with a stopover at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for Rhino trekking lunch en-route in Masindi town then proceed to Karuma falls where the road crosses the Nile River. At Karuma falls you will enjoy sighting the white waters as they hit the hard rocks of Karuma plus a number of Baboons and the black and white Monkeys then proceed to Gulu town the biggest city in northern Uganda for your dinner and overnight at a hotel.

After breakfast you will proceed to Fort Patiko historical sites also known as Baker’s Fort a military fort built by Samuel Baker in Patiko mainly to stop slave trade that was being carried on by the Arab traders. This historical site will offer you fascinating beauty of houses built with stones as you feel the ambiance felt by the early explorers and get to relive the slavery era. You will also have scenic and panoramic views of nature and neighboring villages from a high elevation. Proceed to Kidepo National Park that will welcome you with a variety of animal and bird species, check-in at a pre-arranged lodge in the park for your dinner and night stay.

You will have your breakfast in the early morning before hitting the jungle for game viewing. With a help of an experienced ranger guide, you will be driven through the Kidepo valley while exploring the only park with white-sand bed, to Kanangorok hot springs as you have a magical view of wildlife such as Ostriches, Cheetahs, Zebras, Hyenas, Cape Buffaloes, Leopards, Lions, Elands, Warthogs, Elephants, Bushbucks, Duikers, Jackals, Giraffes to mention but a few and a wide range of bird species. Return to the lodge for lunch and later proceed to the local communities. You will encounter Karamajongs who are so fascinating for example their pastoralist way of life, dress code, body marks that portray hidden meanings, cultural performances and many more. Proceed to the endangered IK people living on Mount Morungole believed to be the first occupants of the area and therefore have a lot to offer. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Following breakfast in the morning, check-out and embark on your journey to Sipi falls through the National Park while having a glimpse of wildlife grazing in the early morning. Proceed to Mbale town while having clear and beautiful views of coffee plantations, rolling hills with a lunch en-route arriving in the evening at a lodge in Mbale town for dinner and a night stay.

Wake up early in the morning for your breakfast and set-off for Sipi falls hiking which takes to about 1 and a half hours. Upon arrival at the falls, its thunderous sound will welcome you as you decide either to hike to the top or the bottom of the falls which will all create memories as you take photos. Embark on your journey back to Kampala with a lunch en-route along the way while viewing Uganda’s naturally gifted landscape. Arrival will be in the evening at a hotel for relaxation or transfer to Entebbe airport to catch your outbound flight.
