8 Days Best of Tanzania Safari

Arise in the morning, have a scrumptious breakfast, check-out of the lodge and set off for Tarangire national park. The journey will take you about 3-4 hours, through the plains of Tanzania with so many eye-catching points for pictures and best sceneries. Arriving in the park will be at the noontime, check-in the lodge accommodation, relax, have lunch and then go for an evening game drive. You will be in search of elephants, buffaloes, cheetahs, antelopes among others. As the sunsets, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

On this beautiful day, you will arise in the early morning have your breakfast packed and head to the jungle to catch the animals when they are very active. The nocturnal animals like leopards, hyenas and lions will be going back to their dens and the early risers like buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, antelopes will be looking for fresh pastures, cheetahs will be on the hunt for fresh kills, you will be enjoying the sweet melodies from the birds, have your picnic breakfast at animal view point and thereafter, bid a farewell to Tarangire as you head to Ngorongoro crater, lunch will be served on the way, arriving in the evening hours, check-in the lodge, have dinner and overnight.

Ngorongoro Crater is the largest dormant caldera in the whole world. It hosts Africa’s big 5 animals in plenty and these are; lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants and rhinos, other animals to be expected here are; wildebeests, zebras, hippopotamus, kudus, duikers, cheetahs to mention but a few. This conservation area has the best scenery especially when you are at the crater rim. You will spend the whole day having fun in the jungle, visiting different animal view points and kopjes, enjoy a picnic lunch at animal viewpoint. Later embark on your activity of game drive as you capture memorable moments.

You will wake up on a lazy breakfast that will be served at your balcony as you overlook the beauty of Ngorongoro, after the breakfast, meet your driver guide who will transfer you to Serengeti National Park with an en-route to Olduvai Gorge museum where the skull of the first person in the human history was discovered, you enjoy the old stories about this place, have lunch on your way, arrive in the park in the evening hours, relax , enjoy the aura of the lodge and then wait for the next day activities.

In these two days, you will be exploring the beauty of Serengeti National Park. This is the most visited conservation area in Tanzania and in East Africa because of its high concentration of wildlife and it is also famous for hosting wildebeest migration in the dry season that is from June to September and this is the largest animal movement in the world. The park is famous for being a conducive place for the flourishing of Africa’s big 5 animals; lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants and rhinos. You will be able to spot a lot of moments in these two days while in Serengeti for example the wildebeest migration which attract savanna predators closer and you are able to see how lions kill a buffalo, how cheetahs kill kudus, and crocodiles in River Grumeti  will be waiting for the zebras to devour them as well.

Arise in the morning, have a scrumptious breakfast at your time of convenience and check-out of the lodge transfer to back to Arusha International Airport, have lunch when you reach Arusha and the driver guide will drop you at the Airport or at the hotel depending on your time of flight.
