The 3 Days Lake Mburo Safari is the best Safari for the travellers that have a tight schedule and it is nearest National Park from Kampala Uganda’s Capital City. Lake Mburo National Park harbors a huge number of wildlife for example impalas, elands, zebras, Defassa waterbucks, leopards, spotted hyenas, topis, hippopotamus, Nile crocodiles, reedbucks and it is also a home to over 350 bird species. You will expect to spot some birds like Malachite kingfisher, Bare-faced go-away-bird, African wattled lapwing, papyrus gonolek, blue headed coucal, African fish eagle, and immature little bee-eater among others. You will enjoy boat cruise as you sail through a school of hippopotamus and crocodiles.

Tour Itinerary
Our driver representative will pick you from the hotel and brief you about the safari and then set off. You will drive for about 4 hours with a stopover at the Equator where you will have some experience, take pictures, interact with locals and then proceed to the park. Arrive in the lunch time hours, check-in to the lodge, have lunch and go for an evening boat cruise. This is the time to find almost 90% of the wildlife on the shores of Lake Mburo as well as birds. You will enjoy the cruise as the sun sets, and then you will go back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Arise in the early morning and head to the park for the game drive to catch the nocturnal animals when they are winding up their activities. You will encounter leopards, hyenas, bush babies all trying to gather food that will sustain them throughout the day. You will spot impalas, topis, buffaloes, zebras very active in the morning looking for fresh grass, as you are on the search for wildlife, you will enjoy the beautiful melodies coming from the birds. You will later go back to the lodge, have a midmorning breakfast, and relax at the lodge as you wait for lunch. In the afternoon you will go for a horseback riding with an armed ranger guide to guard you from dangerous wildlife like leopards and buffaloes, this is the only park in Uganda where you can do horseback riding and you come closer to the wildlife. You will later retire to the lodge in the late evening for dinner and overnight.
On the last day, you will wake up in the early morning and go for cycling which is an interesting activity to flourish your body, you will cycle through herds of buffaloes, zebras, warthogs, and you will enjoy the scenic view of the Rubanga hill, cycling always takes about 1-2 hours. You will later go to the lodge, check-out and transfer back to Kampala or Entebbe. You will have lunch en-route in a decent restaurant at the Equator, you might buy some souvenirs from the craft shop and then proceed with your journey.
