6 Days Eastern Uganda Safari is one of the best experience that will expose to the beauty of the Eastern Uganda, you will visit the source of River Nile, you will be tempted to do water rafting because of the white waters that Nile River possesses alternatively you will do a boat cruise on the gentle profile of the River as you are enjoying the green vegetation and the birds on the shores. You will visit Ntanda falls, then head to Jinja city for a tour and proceed to SIPI Falls where you will also visit coffee plantations. The safari will expose you to different wildlife including the Big 5 and other animals, birds and magical scenic views.

Tour Itinerary

In the early morning, our driver guide will pick you from the hotel, he will give you a briefing about the trip and then set off for Jinja, and you will go through the renowned Mabira Forest, you will meet people roasting chicken, plantains, you might decide to taste on the local delicacy, you will later arrive at the Nile. You will engage in the white water rafting, boat cruise and then later head to Ntanda water fall, you will later go for lunch and head to Sipi falls. You will enjoy the magical view of the water falls, visit local coffee farmers who will also share with you their experience, you will taste on Ugandan coffee, later you will head to the hotel in Jinja for dinner and overnight.

Arise in the morning, have a scrumptious breakfast and head to Pian Upe, you will drive on the Eastern side of the country where you will be having spectacular view of the Mountain Elgon and proceed to the vast plains of Pian Upe. This is the second largest protected area in Uganda and you will be pleased with the animals that it hosts. You will arrive in the afternoon hours, check-in the lodge, have lunch and then go for evening game drive. You will be searching for cheetahs, leopards, ostriches, antelopes, Gunther’s dik-dik, and patas monkeys among others. You will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

You wake up in the early morning and head to the jungle to catch the animals when they are still very active, you will meet giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, impalas, to mention but a few. You will later return to the lodge for breakfast ahead of your journey to Kidepo. You will arrive in the evening, check-in the lodge accommodation, and have dinner overnight.

You will wake up for a delicious breakfast, get your lunch packed and head to the wilderness, you will be looking out for lions, buffaloes, leopards, cheetahs, antelopes, zebras, ostriches, hyenas, among others. You will enjoy your picnic lunch as you are overlooking River Kidepo and by this time you will find almost 90% of the animals are on the shores, you will spot herds of buffaloes, giraffes, antelopes, and you will see that the predators are not far from the preys, you will visit different kopjes and other animal view points and then you will retire to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

You arise in the morning before the temperatures soar, get you drinking water and head to Mountain Morungole, you will hike this mountain which is a home to the IK tribe of people. The Mountain lowlands provide habitat to different wildlife and birds, you will have a spectacular view of Kidepo Valley National Park and the entire Northern Uganda when you are on top. You will return to the lodge, relax, have lunch and then visit the Karamajong tribe which is the most backward tribe in Uganda. They will welcome you with warm smiles, greet you, dance for you, they will tell you stories of how they used to live, and they will tell you their beliefs and norms. You will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

You will wake up in the early morning, get your breakfast packed and exit the park. You will have a stopover at the Karuma falls which are the strongest waterfalls in the world, you will embark on the journey, have lunch en-route before you branch to Ziwa for Rhino tracking. You will later proceed to track the Rhinos and tracking always takes about 1-2 hours and after tracking rhinos, you will have viewed all the Big 5 of the jungle, return to your journey through the rolling hills of Masindi. The driver guide will drop you at the hotel or at the Airport depending on your time of flight back home.
