10 Days Best of Tanzania Wildlife Safari is one of the best safaris that will expose you to explore the most visited Tanzania’s Arusha National parks for example; Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and Lake Manyara National Park. The safari will be more of game drives since they will be the main activity in these protected areas allowing you to enjoy the beautiful sceneries and the wildlife including the wildebeest migration that happens annually in the dry months of June to October. Upon arrival at the airport in Arusha, you will be picked by our driver guide who will brief you about this amazing Safari and then take a short city tour in Arusha where you get to visit the local markets, the art and gallery centers, and museums and interact with some locals. Later on, head to the booked accommodation for overnight stay.
Arise in the early morning for a scrumptious breakfast and then head to the nearest National Park to Arusha City, where you get to take part in boat cruise on Monella Lakes and short game drives that will offer you the best of wildlife viewing such as hippos, elephants, buffalos, zebras, wildebeest. Arriving in the afternoon, check-in the lodge, have lunch and go for evening game drive to catch animals like elephants, buffaloes, cheetahs, wildebeests, antelopes among others.
After a morning breakfast at the lodge, you will check-out and then transfer to Serengeti National Park a home to large numbers of Big 5 which are; lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes and rhinos. Serengeti is well known for the annual wildebeest migration together with zebras and this is the largest animal movement in the whole world. This movement attracts savannah predators for example lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, foxes and other scavengers, you will be able to see these animals in the closest vicinity, proceed to the lodge in the wilderness, arrive in the afternoon, check-in to the lodge, have lunch and go for evening game drive to spot some animal species then return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Spend this exciting time in the endless plains of Serengeti National Park taking part in game drives where you get to discover about the best animals. You will be able to spot some savannah predators hunting their prey, witness the massive annual wildebeest migration. Watch animals such as leopards, lions, zebras, gazelles, elephants, giraffes, rhinos, buffalos and many more others. The game drive will take you to the river bank with moments like picnic lunch overlooking Mara River and you will spot large number of animals including the migrating wildebeests and zebras.
Wake up on game drive to catch up with early risers and then embark on a transfer to Ngorongoro Crater area. This is another special destination where you get to enjoy the best of wildlife viewing. Ngorongoro area is known to home the largest extinct volcanic caldera in the world with large number of wildlife including the big five animals, the wildebeest, crocodiles, hippopotamus and many others. Arrive in Ngorongoro in the evening, check-in the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Explore the base of Ngorongoro crater area through a game drive. This will grant you a chance to spot animals like the lions, elephants, zebras, flamingos, hippopotamus, Rhino, antelopes, jackals, and many bird species and more others. Hike to the top in the evening to view the best of caldera and many others.
After a delicious breakfast you will transfer to Lake Manyara national park a protected area that is located between Lake Manyara and the Great Rift Valley. This park covers an area of 325 square kilometers homing differing wild animals including the rare tree climbing lions that can also be spotted in Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth national park in Uganda. Arrive and take a nature walk where you get to see different wildlife such as lions, baboons, leopards, elephants, buffalos, impalas, giraffes to mention but a few.
Discover Lake Manyara through game drives where you will spot different wildlife such as birds like lovebirds, rufous tailed weaver, crowned hornbill, grey crowned crane, flamingoes, crested guinea fowl and many more others. Animals like impalas, giraffes, baboons, leopards, elephants, giraffes and many more others. The game drivers will be three that is the morning, evening and night game drive.
Breakfast will be served at the lodge and then transfer to Arusha followed by a departure flight back home to mark the end 10 days best Tanzania wildlife safari.
