This 5 days Kidepo and Sipi falls tour takes you to the most isolated National Park in the country but though a haven to vast animal and bird species. This package combines both wildlife and nature since you will have a hike to the magnificent dramatic Sipi falls in Kapchorwa. Explore the northern city as you get to learn about the history of Baker’s fort in Patiko with this 5 days tour. You will have an insight into an endangered and indigenous IK tribe that will involve making a hike to Mount Morungole as you enjoy the stunning and breathtaking scenery of the valleys below and the neighboring areas of Kenya.

Meet our professional driver guide who will be patiently waiting to welcome you to the pearl of Africa. He will brief you through the itinerary and there after hit the road to Gulu with a stopover at Ziwa rhino sanctuary for white rhino trekking. You will later embark on your drive with a lunch en-route along the way as you enjoy sightseeing at the Karuma falls proceeding to arrive at a reserved hotel in Gulu for your dinner and an overnight.
Wake-up on a delicious breakfast and proceed to Baker’s fort in Patiko sub-county Gulu district to explore this extraordinary historical site that was constructed with stones. You will have time to learn about this historical site that was commissioned by Sir Samuel Baker to be used as a military base to stop slave trade that was being carried out by Arabs especially from Iran, Iraq, Kuwait and many more. You will later proceed with a lunch en-route to Kidepo National Park far north in Kaabong district a haven to unique and abundant wildlife where you will encounter some of the big cats arriving to check-in at a pre-arranged lodge for your dinner and an overnight.
You will have breakfast served in the morning then proceed to have a tremendous wildlife encounter in the Narus valley where you will spot large concentrations of animals for example elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, waterbucks, giraffes, buffaloes, bush duiker, warthogs to mention but a few. You will have the opportunity to encounter a variety of bird types such as ostriches, red and yellow barbet, Kori bustard, little bee-eater and many more. Return back to have lunch at the lodge and later hike to Mount Morungole for a cultural encounter with the IK tribe where you will an insight into their traditions and culture. Get back to the lodge to relax, have dinner and an overnight.
Wake-up to have breakfast, check-out and embark on your drive to Sipi falls as you have the last glance at Kidepo’s wildlife. This is a 7 to 8 adventurous drive via Mbale-Moroto road with a lunch en-route along the way arriving to check-in at a lodge around Sipi for your dinner and a night stay.
After your breakfast proceed for a hike to the bottom of the falls as you penetrate through cultivated fields and valleys while you have stunning views of mountain Elgon and the surrounding areas. Enjoy with your camera as you take videos and pictures of the crystal clear water flowing over rocks while you also enjoy the stories told by guide about the Sipi history. Descend back to have lunch at the lodge and later check-out to catch your drive to Kampala arriving in the late afternoon to be dropped off at the hotel of your choice or at the airport depending on the time of your flight.
