25 Days East African Safari is a mega safari that will take you around East Africa in countries like Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda. This safari is a combination of game viewing, cultural tours, hiking and birding expedition. The safari will also expose you to both wildebeest migration in Kenya in Masai Mara and Tanzania in Serengeti National Park. You will also have a great chance to encounter your relatives the chimpanzees and gorillas in their natural habitat, plus the Africa’s Big 5 which are lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes and rhinos. The safari will expose you to the hidden treasures of these countries where you will visit most of the visited tourist destinations and it will leave you with everlasting memories. The safari will start from Uganda and end in Kenya.

Tour Itinerary
Upon arrival at Entebbe Airport in Uganda, you will be welcomed by our company representative who will be your driver guide all through. He will welcome you warmly, greet you and take you through the itinerary, thereafter he will transfer you to the Hotel in Kampala which is 30minutes drive from the Airport. When you reach at the hotel, you will check-in, taste on the Ugandan dishes in case you want and then rest for an overnight.
You will rise in the early morning get your scrumptious breakfast packed and head to Kidepo Valley National Park and this is the most isolated national park in Uganda and is located in the northern Uganda bordering South Sudan. The park boasts to have a number of wildlife and is less visited, so when you are in this place, you feel like you the one owning the park. The distance from Kampala is about 9-10hours drive with stopover for lunch, arriving in the evening, and check-in to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Arise in the morning, have a scrumptious breakfast, meet your driver guide and a ranger and head to the jungle to catch the animals when they are still very active. The park boasts to have less traffic therefore, you will enjoy the drive without any interruptions, spot herds of elephants, buffaloes, zebras, elands among other animals. The park has best kopjes where you will stand and have a clear view of the entire park. You can decide to go with your lunch to have it as you enjoy spotting different animal species or return to the lodge and then in the evening meet the IK people who live at Mountain Morungole in Kidepo Valley. This tribe has been a fruit gatherer and hunters as well. They will bless your evening through their dances, songs, ancient stories among others. Return to the lodge in the late evening for dinner an overnight.
This is another day to travel after a sumptuous breakfast, meet your driver guide and head to Murchison Falls National Park. You will arrive in Murchison in the evening hours and you connect direct to your lodge accommodation where you will spend an overnight stay.
Arise in the morning for a scrumptious breakfast, meet your driver guide and head to the jungle to meet the wildlife. You will be welcomed by herds of elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, waterbucks, bushbucks, lions, leopards, birds will be entertaining you through their sweet voices, primates like baboons among others, you will return to the lodge for relaxation and lunch and then in the afternoon by 3pm, you will board a boat to the delta and this is a convenient time to see animals on the water bank. You will cruise besides the hippopotamuses, crocodiles, buffaloes and elephants will be seen swimming, giraffes will be drinking water and on this trip you will be sure to spot shoebill storks, cormorants, eagles, kingfishers to mention but a few. After the 17km stretch, you will return as you enjoy the sunset and most sundowners enjoy this time most.
After a delicious breakfast, check-out of the lodge and head to the top of the falls to have a panoramic view of the falls from the above and see how magical the River forces its water into a 7meter gorge resulting into the strongest waterfalls in the world. After you have taken a close look at the falls, embark on your journey to Kibale National Park with an en-route to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track the rhinos and this will take you about 2 hours, and thereafter go for lunch and hit the road again to Kibale National Park arriving in the late evening, check-in to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
On this eventful day, you will arise in the morning have a mouthwatering breakfast and head to Kanyanchu for a briefing about the chimpanzee trekking, be allocated the chimpanzee family to track and then head to forest to track the primates. Upon meeting the primates, you will spend an hour with the primates, taking pictures and videos, return to the lodge for lunch and then in the afternoon by 3pm, you will head to Bigodi wetland sanctuary which is 4.5km south of Kibale National Park and it is a home to over 200 birds famously known for hosting Grand Blue Turaco. Other species to encounter black and white colobus monkeys grey cheeked mangabey, red-tailed monkeys, L’Hoest monkeys, sitatungas, bush pigs, shoebill storks among others. You will retire to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Arise in the morning, enjoy a delicious breakfast, check-out of the lodge and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park Uganda’s open savanna National Park and the second largest after Murchison Falls National Park. It is famous for hosting the tree climbing lions. You will arrive in the afternoon hours, check-in to the lodge, have lunch and go for a boat cruise on Kazinga Channel one of the best activities never to be missed while in the park. You will be able to spot almost a half of the park’s birds along the water bank, animals like African savanna elephants, buffaloes, bushbucks, hippopotamuses, reptiles like monitor lizards, crocodiles, birds like egrets, malachite kingfishers, fish eagles to mention but a few. Kazinga channel has the best water experience in the whole of East Africa and it will give you everlasting memories.
Arise in morning for a scrumptious breakfast, check-out of the lodge and head to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park with an en-route to Ishasha sector to track tree climbing lions and proceed to Bwindi which known for hosting a half of world’s remaining gorilla population. You will arrive in the evening, have dinner and overnight stay.
Another beautiful day waiting for you to meet the gorillas in their natural habitat. Wake in the morning, have a scrumptious breakfast and head to the park headquarters where you will be briefed about gorilla trekking etiquettes, be allocated a gorilla family to track, meet your ranger guide and head to the off beaten paths in the green rush forests to meet gorillas. Tracking normally takes about 1-6 hours depending on how far they spent a previous night, you will spend an hour with primates as you take pictures and videos, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation then in the evening, you will visit the Batwa in their community. This group of people was living in the forest since time memorial and they sued to hunt and gather crops not until government evicted them from the forests. They will entertain you through dances, stories, plays among others, they also have craft shops where you can buy some souvenirs, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
This day, you will wake up in the morning and transfer to Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda. This park is part of the Virunga ranges that is Volcanoes from Rwanda, Mgahinga and Bwindi in Uganda and Virunga National Park in Congo. This park is famous for hosting gorillas and this will be a double opportunity for you to see gorillas and have good time with them. You will arrive in the evening hours and connect direct to the lodge where you will spend an overnight.
Wake up in the morning for yet another fun-full day where you will engage in trekking gorillas and learning more about them and their characters. You will be assigned a gorilla family to track and go with a ranger guide to help you locate the gorillas. The park is thrilled with other species that will be on your menu list such as birds, monkeys, bush pigs among others. Trekking will last for about 2-6 hours including an hour that you will spend with the gorillas as you record everlasting memories. Return to the lodge, relax as you have lunch and in the evening visit Iby’wacu also known as Gorilla guardian village. This place is full of people who were hunters and fruit gatherers, however the government of Rwanda has developed this areas, motivated people and they earn a living. These people will entertain you by expressing Rwandan culture through dances, dressing, and ancient stories, among others. After this fruitful evening, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
After a scrumptious breakfast, meet your driver guide who will transfer you to Tanzania in Arusha to proceed with your 21 days East African safari. You will be arrive in Tanzania in the evening hours, connect to your lodge accommodation, check-in, relax as you acclimatize.
This day is for entirely relaxing at your hotel. You will have your meals served at your time of convenience, as you enjoy the beauty of the hotel, you will be swimming as you rejuvenate the lost energy as you prepare for the next day’s activities.
Arise in the morning, enjoy your breakfast and check-out of the lodge and transfer to Ngorongoro crater the world’s largest extinct volcano with a number of wildlife including the Big 5 which are lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants and rhinos. You will have an en-route to Olduvai gorge museum where the first man’s skull was found, lunch will be served on the way, arriving in the evening, check-in to the lodge accommodation, have dinner and overnight.
Arise in the morning, enjoy a delicious breakfast, get your lunch packed and head to the jungle. You will drive the whole day, enjoying wildlife for example here you will meet black and white rhinos, buffaloes, elephants, lions, leopards and these are the Africa’s Big 5. You will spot wildebeests, cheetahs, zebras, gazelles, kobs, klipspringers, to mention but a few. A picnic lunch will be provided to you, proceed to hippo pool to have a beautiful view of the hippos and the flamingos and then in the late evening, retire to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Arise in the morning, have your breakfast served, check-out of the lodge and head to Serengeti National Park which is in the northern circuit of Tanzania. You will do a game drive in Ngorongoro National Park as you head to Serengeti, arriving in the evening, check-in to the lodge for dinner and overnight as you wait for the eventful day in the morning.
This is the awaited day where you will wake up in the morning for a scrumptious breakfast and head to the jungle to catch the animals. These 2 days will be fruitful to you where you will be able to experience the migration of wildebeests, zebras and gazelles. This is the largest animal movement that happens annually in the dry month of June to September where millions of wildebeests together with zebras are seen crossing River Grumeti to the Northern Serengeti and crossing to Masai Mara National Park in Kenya. This movement attracts savanna predators which are lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, vultures which are seen in the closest vicinity. These 2 days in the endless plains of Serengeti will create everlasting memories in your life.
You will wake up in the morning for a hefty breakfast and transfer to Masai Mara. Another opportunity for you to enjoy the voyage and cross to Kenya to see what the herds do when they cross from Serengeti and arrive in Masai Mara. You will arrive in Mara in the evening hours, check-in to the lodge and wait for the next day’s mega activities.
This is another beautiful moment for you to enjoy the wildebeest migration as herds are seen from Serengeti crossing Mara River in Kenya. In these 2 days, you will have picnic lunches, spot huge numbers of wildebeests and zebras crossing from Tanzania to Masai Mara in Kenya. You will be able to see how lions tempt to make a kill, how cheetahs will be chasing gazelles, hyenas will be seen following the lions to scavenge on their kill. You will see buffaloes, elephants, rhinos, leopards, lions, giraffes, cheetahs, zebras and hippopotamuses and these are the Big 9 of the jungle. This park has magical panoramic view of the Great Plains, visit different kopjes and then return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Arise in the morning for a scrumptious breakfast and go for a morning game drive with chances to spot some species that you might have missed in last 2 days. You will thereafter proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park arriving in the evening hours and this day you will not do any activity apart from transferring from Masai Mara.
This is another eventful day where you will enjoy Lake Nakuru National Park by doing game drive to spot herds of buffaloes and elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, gazelles, birds especially the flamingos which are seen on the lake shore turning it into pink. You will do a boat cruise in case you want to, retire to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
This is your last day of the 21 Days East African Safari. You wake up in the morning at your time of convenience, have breakfast, check-out of the lodge and bid a farewell to Lake Nakuru and head to Arusha where you will get a flight back home or to other destinations and this will mark the end of your trip.
