Overview

This is a Safari that is exposing you to the world’s most endangered species and these are gorillas and chimpanzees. This safari will take you to the most visited National Parks in Uganda and these are Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park  where a half of world’s gorilla population and Kibale Forest National Park which is world’s primate capital. These parks have different activities thus giving you different experiences, apart from the chimpanzees and gorillas, the parks are endowed with other species like birds, bush pigs, forest elephants, beautiful sceneries, cultural encounters where you will meet the shortest people which are Batwa.

Tour Itinerary

Our driver guide will pick you from the Entebbe Airport, take you through the itinerary, and drop you at Kajjansi Airstrip where you will pick a domestic flight to Kasese where you be picked by the Glory Summit Tours and Travel driver guide who will transfer you to Kibale Forest National Park, arrive in the evening hours, check-in the hotel accommodation and later visit the Bigodi swamp wetland which is a home to shoebill storks, monkeys like colobus monkeys, baboons, statungas among others. You will retire to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

On this beautiful day, you will arise in the morning, head to Kanyanchu briefing center where you will be briefed about the trekking etiquettes, be allocated the chimpanzee family to track and then head to the thick forests to track the primates. Tracking will take you about 1-4hours depending on how far the chimpanzees slept previous night, you will have a chance to spend an hour with primates, take pictures and videos, return to the lodge, get an early lunch and fly to Kisoro where you will be picked by the driver who will transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, check-in to the lodge and then go to visit Batwa people, return to the lodge in the late evening for dinner and overnight.

Greet your intestines with a scrumptious breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing and then head to the jungle with a ranger, who will lead you to the gorilla family, spend an hour in their presence as you take pictures, beautiful sceneries, enjoy the birds, return to the lodge, have lunch and then be driven to Kisoro for a flight back to Entebbe where you will get an international flight back home. Thus marking the end of your trip.

This trip however can be tailor made and extend to more days in case you want to visit other destinations in Uganda or East African Countries.
