After your meet and greet with your driver guide at the Airport/Hotel, you’ll go on a city tour of Uganda’s capital Kampala visiting various sites and attractions including the ever busy Nakasero Market, the Independence Monument, the grand Gadhafi Mosque, and the Uganda museum. Depart Kampala for Queen Elizabeth National Park, making a stopover for a water experiment at the Equator and another at Igongo Cultural center for lunch. Proceed to the Park arriving in the evening. Enjoy an evening game drive as you head to your accommodation; check in, freshen up and enjoy a dinner at the lodge
After an early breakfast in the early morning, head out for a morning Game drive. During this expedition expect to encounter with animals such as the Buffaloes, Antelopes, Elephants, Warthogs, and Baboons, among others, and if lucky, lions and leopards too. Return to the lodge and relax as you wait for lunch. After lunch, you will drive to the heart of the park at Mweya peninsular where you will set off for a launch trip on the Kazinga channel where Lakes Edward and Gorge meet. This is yet another fascinating adventure that one should not dare to miss out on the trip to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
For the birders, this Launch trip offers a great chance to see a wide range of bird species such as the Martial Eagle, Black Ramped Fly catcher, African skimmer, African Broadbill, Verreaux’s Eagle Owl among others.
It is also at the beautiful Kazinga Channel where you will see a serried ranges of hippos, and crocodiles at the shoreline together with numerous wildlife species coming down to bathe and drink some water and the mighty Elephants lingering around.
Return to the lodge and freshen up, relax and wait for dinner at the lodge
After a scrumptious breakfast at the lodge, check out and head to Kasenyi Fishing Village and thereafter proceed to depart the park while enjoying yet another game drive. Make a lunch stopover at a local restaurant, and proceed to Kampala and consequently Entebbe for a visit to UWEC( Uganda Wildlife Education Center). Proceed to the Airport for Flight/Hotel depending on the time of your flight.
