3 Days Bwindi gorilla trekking safari is an exquisite safari that will start from Kampala/Entebbe and end in Kampala/Entebbe. The safari will expose you to the endangered mountain gorillas which are the closest relative to humans, you will be able to spot other animals like forest elephants, bush-pigs, birds since the park hosts over 350 bird species with 14 species not being recorded anywhere else in Uganda. you will have a chance of enjoying Equator where you will take pictures with one leg in Southern hemisphere and another in Northern hemisphere, meet the Batwa/Pigmy who are the indigenous people of the forest.

You will have an early breakfast by 8:00 am, and embark on the journey for an 8-9 hour drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in the southwestern but with stopovers both at the Equator, lunch break and scenic viewing. You will have your first stopover at the Equator in Kayabwe where you will engage in the Equator experience, taking pictures, the second stopover will be in Mbarara for lunch, embark on the journey arriving in Bwindi in the evening hours, check-in to accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.
you will enjoy an early breakfast from your lodge and and be driven to the park headquarters for a briefing about gorilla trekking etiquettes. After the briefing, you will set off for Gorilla trekking in the thick forests which are rich forest sounds especially from the birds that will be chirping from the tree branches. Gorilla trekking takes about 2-6 depending on how far the primates spent the last night, and you have one hour to stay with the Gorillas. You will return to the lodge for lunch and in the evening you will go for a community walk to the Batwa people who have lived in the Bwindi forest since the time memorial even before Bwindi was gazetted as a National Park so they have a lot in stock for you.
Arise in the morning for breakfast and depart Bwindi and travel back to Kampala with a stopover for lunch en-route in Mbarara, after there, you might have a stopover at the Equator again in case you want to buy some souvenirs, arriving in Kampala will be in the evening and the driver guide will drop you at the Airport or at the hotel depending on your time of flight.
