Overview

You will be received by our driver guide and set off for Murchison Falls National Park with a stop-over at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for Rhino trekking. You will then embark on your journey to Murchison Falls National Park where you will have a morning game drive and an evening boat cruise along the Nile River hoping to have clear shoots of animals and bird species that portray African Wilderness along the Nile. You will proceed with your safari to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth to Buhoma sector of Bwindi where you will go trekking the giant apes and a visit to the exciting Batwa pygmy communities. A variety of mammal species, reptiles, bird species, plant types and primates will be encountered along your safari and later head back to Entebbe to catch your out bound flight back home.

Tour Itinerary

You will set off to Murchison falls National Park from Entebbe with the help of our driver guide in the morning. The distance is quite long and takes to about 5 to 6hours but so adventurous. Along your journey, you will have a stop-over at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary in Nakasongola for Rhino trekking which will take you up to 2hours as you enjoy their existence and learn about their social behaviors with a help of a guide. You will embark on your safari and have a lunch en route in Masindi before proceeding to a reserved lodge in Murchison Falls National Park. Upon arrival at the Park, you will check in at the booked lodge, have dinner and a night stay as you prepare for the next most adventurous day.

You will wake up early to have the most unforgettable and memorable African wilderness experience as you will be driven through the park’s trails while having a clear spot at large herds of Elephants, Buffaloes, lions, Giraffes, Oribis, Waterbucks, Baboons, Warthogs, Uganda Kobs to mention but a few after which you will head back to the lodge for lunch. You will go for the sundowners boat cruise down to the Albert delta as you have a clear view at the animals along the Nile like the Hippopotamuses, Crocodiles and various bird species with the Shoe bill stork inclusive. You will then head back to the lodges to freshen up, have dinner and a night stay as you prepare to check out and depart to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

You will transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park after your breakfast as you drive through Murchison enjoying your last eye catching wildlife in this park as they are trying to feed when the temperatures are still low. This journey to Bwindi is long of about 12hours though so interesting and adventurous. You will travel through Fort portal, Queen Elizabeth National park where you will have a stop-over at the Equator monument at Kikorongoro in Kasese and then through the Ishasha sector as you have a view at the uncommon tree climbing lions, other animals like Elephants, Antelopes, Buffaloes and many more connecting to Buhoma sector in Bwindi. Upon arrival in Bwindi, you will check in at the reserved lodge for refreshment, dinner and a night stay as you prepare for trekking activities the next morning.

You will be driven to the park headquarters early in the morning after your breakfast to be given the Dos and Don’ts of Gorilla trekking. You will then embark on the search for the Gorillas with a help of a ranger guide taking you one to 6hours depending on how fast you will locate these giant apes. You will then enjoy a magical hour with them up on their location as you see them play and feed their young ones and then head back to the lodge for lunch. Variety of animal and bird species will be seen for example Colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, olive baboons among others. You will embark on a cultural tour to the Batwa cultural communities with a help of the Batwa guide as he narrates their ancient life style for example how they hunted down wild animals, gathered fruits, lived in harmony with mountain Gorillas and so on. You will also be able to enjoy their interesting cultural performances as they dance to their tunes. You will head back to lodges for dinner and an overnight stay as you wait to check out in the next morning.

You will check out of the lodges and depart for Entebbe to catch your flight. Along your way, you will have a lunch en route in Mbarara and then proceed to Kampala with a stop-over at Kayabwe Equator as you also visit the craft shop to buy some souvenirs to take with you home. Arrival will be in the evening to catch your flight as planned or you will be dropped at a hotel as you wait for your flight.
