12 days Kenya wildlife safari is a breathtaking wildlife encounter that will take you to Kenya’s naturally endowed destinations such as Nairobi National Park, Maasai Mara popularly known for its wildebeest migration northwards form Serengeti of Tanzania, Lake Naivasha National Park, Hells Gate National Park, Lake Nakuru National Park, Ol Pejeta Conservancy best known for its chimpanzees, Samburu National reserve and Aberdare National Park where you will have good time at the Thomson’s waterfalls also known as the Nyahururu waterfalls. Expect to encounter not only the big five but entirely the big nine in both Maasai Mara National reserve and Samburu National reserve which include the lions, buffaloes, elephants, rhinos, leopards, giraffes, cheetahs, zebras, hippopotamuses and many more other animals.

A professional driver guide from glory summit tours and travel will be waiting to welcome and receive you at Jomo Kenyatta international airport. He will then take you through a briefing of your travel plan and immediately set off for Nairobi National Park which is the only wildlife capital which is just a few minutes from the airport. Upon your arrival, you will hit the park’s open grasslands for wildlife viewing as you spot various bird species and animals like giraffes, cheetahs, black rhinos and many more. Retire off the savannah plains to check-in at a hotel for lunch after which you will have a visit to Sheldrick Elephant orphanage which is part of the Nairobi National Park. This orphanage is renowned for its work of rescuing and rehabilitating orphaned elephants which will be spotted enjoying milk feed a mud bath. Get back to your hotel for dinner and an overnight.

You will have your breakfast served in the early morning, check-out and embark on your 3 to 4 hours’ drive to Maasai Mara National Reserve. Arrival will be round mid-day to check-in at your pre-arranged lodge and have lunch. You will proceed to the Maasai Mara jungle for an adventure in the park as you spot lots of bird life and animals like the big five, gazelles, giraffes, hippopotamuses, hartebeests, zebras, oribis to mention but a few. After your final catch up of the game, you will return back to your lodge to have dinner and an overnight.

Wakeup to a delicious breakfast and return to Masai Mara’s endless savannah plains to have a morning wildlife encounter while you make a drive to the Mara river to experience one of the world’s animal migration known as the wildebeest migration that occurs around late July to early September and around late October and early November when animals like wildebeests, zebras, gazelles and many more make a return route to Serengeti of Tanzania. Drama is experienced at the Mara River where predators patiently wait to feast on them. Get back to the lodge to have a relaxed lunch and later return for one more time Maasai Mara wildlife viewing in the afternoon. Retire off the Maasai Mara plains to your lodge for dinner and an overnight.

This beautiful day starts with a morning meal, check-out to embark on your 4hours’ drive to Lake Naivasha arriving to check-in at your pre-arranged hotel around this beautiful lake guaranteed with a pleasing lake view. You will have your lunch served and immediately set off for a cruise to Crescent Island where you will have the best up-close wildlife encounter as you walk amidst the wild animals since there are no any predators that can either attack you or the animals. Animals to be encountered include zebras, giraffes, impalas, waterbucks, elands and many more as well as bird species like herons, fish eagle, cranes, pelicans to mention but a few. Retire off the island and sail back to be driven to your hotel to have dinner and an overnight.

Wakeup to a scrumptious breakfast, have your packed lunch ready with you and proceed for a whole day game viewing safari in Hell’s Gate National Park’s savannah plains. Plenty of wildlife will be spotted for example gazelles, hartebeests, giraffes, buffaloes, elands, zebras to mention but a few as well as numerous bird species. Have your picnic lunch in the jungle and later proceed with your game viewing till late in the evening after which you will retire back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight.

Have your morning breakfast and head out for a walking safari around Hells Gate National park before you check-out to embark on your drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. You will have the opportunity to see attractions that you could have missed out in the previous day such as colored rocks, hot springs, waterfalls and many more. Check-out to embark on your 1 and a half hours drive to Lake Nakuru National Park arriving to have lunch at your pre-arranged lodge. After lunch you will head for 2 to 3 hours boat ride on Lake Nakuru where you will enjoy the Lake’s beauty covered with bird types for example flamingoes, pelican, hottentot teal, blue-eared starling and many more as well as aquatic animals like hippopotamuses, waterbucks and many more. Get off the boat ride to be driven back to your lodge to have dinner and an overnight.

Grab a cup of coffee in the early morning and proceed for a morning game drive to encounter the Park’s wildlife such as white rhinos, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras to mention but a few as well as numerous bird species. Get back to have lunch at the lodge and later check-out to embark on your 3 hours’ drive to Ol Pejeta Conservancy arriving in the afternoon to check-in at your reserved lodge for relaxation, dinner and an overnight.

Wakeup to have breakfast and proceed for a visit to the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee sanctuary to have an up-close view of our great cousins having had a briefing.  This sanctuary provides refuge to the chimpanzees rescued from black market and it is the only place in Kenya where these apes can be seen. Having spotted the chimpanzees, return back to the lodge for lunch and later proceed to Ol Pejeta Conservancy’s grassy plains to have an eye on mammals such as elephants, buffaloes, black and white rhinos, hartebeest, African wild dogs as well as big cats like leopards and cheetahs. These grassy plains are also a habitat to various bird species white-bellied Bastard, secretary bird, grey crowned crane and many more. Retire off the plains back to your lodge to have dinner and an overnight.

Have your breakfast in the early morning and check-out to embark on your 3 hours’ drive to Samburu National reserve arriving to check-in at your booked lodge to have an early lunch. After lunch you will hit the Park’s semi-arid plains to have an afternoon game viewing where you will spot animals like grey’s zebras, reticulated giraffe, lions, buffaloes, elephants, cheetahs, hippopotamuses, leopards, aardwolf, mongoose, elands, hartebeests to mention but a few. Samburu National reserve is a haven to a variety of bird species for example African darter, abdim’s stork, grey hornbill, fish eagle, African spoonbill, bateleur, snake eagle, herons, Egyptian goose, crested francolin, hamerkop, kori bustard and many more that will all be encountered.

Greet your intestines with a hefty breakfast and return to the Samburu National reserve’s plains to spot wildlife that you could have missed out in the previous afternoon. You will encounter the big nine such as lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, cheetahs, Maasai giraffe, reticulated giraffe, hippopotamuses, plain zebras, grevy’s zebras and a variety of other mammals. Numerous bird species will be spotted roaming the reserve during your game drive after which you will return back to your lodge for lunch. After lunch you will be led by a local guide to the Samburu communities for an insight into their cultural norms and traditions that are still untouched by modern day civilization. During this visit, you will have a chance to interact with the Samburu people as you have a glimpse into their culture, lifestyle, customs and practices. Return back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight.

Wakeup to enjoy your breakfast to embark on your 4 hours’ drive to Aberdare National Park arriving in the afternoon to check-in at your pre-arranged lodge to have lunch. After lunch you will proceed to the park’s ragged plains to spot animals such as bushbucks, waterbucks, buffaloes, elephants, antelopes and many more as well as various bird species. Get back to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and an overnight.

Liven up with a delicious breakfast on this beautiful day and procced to view the Thomson’s waterfalls which are the second tallest water falls in Kenya after Karuru water falls. You will have the opportunity to capture beautiful pictures with falls in the background. After hours of good time at the falls, return to have lunch at your lodge before you checkout to catch your drive to Nairobi. Arrival in Nairobi will be in the afternoon to either be dropped off at a location of your choice or at Jomo Kenyatta international airport to catch your flight back home.
